It’s that time of year again: the halls are decked, Christmas trees have sprung up, the aura of the holiday season is decidedly in the air once again. As such, OurWindsor wanted to share with our readers a list of some of the best Indoor Holiday Decoration locations throughout the city.
If you’ve got the time this holiday season, be sure to stop by each of these locations to take in the experience for yourself. Remember, it only comes once a year, and as such, it’s a special occasion not to be missed!
Located at 1899 Niagara, Willistead Manor is decorated annually every year the Friends of Willistead Manor, who help to decorate the over twenty rooms of the Walkerville located mansion. Ornate displays, grand Christmas trees, and twinkling lights are dotted throughout the entire facility, and as such, it’s a magnificent piece of cultural history to take in during the holiday season.
At 525 Argyle Road, be sure to stop by The Walkerville Brewery as they have decorated the facility with wreaths, lights and Christmas trees. Being able to celebrate a local brewery is festive enough for many Windsorites, but the fact that they put the time and effort to decorate it for the holidays is what will ensure that the brand stays relevant and in the mindset of consumers.
Located at 1 Maiden Lane, The Squirrel Cage is unlike most cafes in the City. While a New York or Toronto vibe traditionally fills the atmosphere of the chic café, such is not the case for the holiday season as they’ve gone all out with Christmas decorations. A magnificent tree, lights throughout and warm holiday charm will surely greet you if you decide to venture in to the Squirrel Cage.
Located in the Capitol Theatre, Artcite is currently holding their annual “Doin’ the Louvre” exhibit. While it’s not your traditional holiday display, it has become a rather traditional one here in the city, and we’d be remiss to leave them out.
At 2072 Riverside E, The Canadian Club Brand Centre annually decorates the interior of Hiram Walker’s old offices for the festive season. Windsorites have come to love their ornate decorations and displays, and as such, it earns a spot on our list of the best indoor decorated locations in the City.
