Tonight’s Hanukkah celebration was the exact medicine I needed on a day that felt like an open wound.
Gathering with our community to honour our faith and live out the essence of Hanukkah—standing firm against any force that tries to dim our unique light and way of connecting with God.
It’s unfortunate we needed such a strong police presence, but sadly, it’s just the way things are for Jewish events.
