DAY 4: #YQGCovid-19

MARCH 15 2020

“Out of an abundance of caution.”

“What is happening now?”

THERE ARE CURRENTLY 0 CASES OF COVID19 IN WINDSOR – WECHU

Things are getting worse, not better. I’m not attempting to create panic, but we are talking about mortality rates and measures not ever discussed out of wartime.

We are watching major institutions shutter operations domestically indefinitely, and seeing foreign governments and corporations do the same.

OUR MAYOR IS APPARENTLY TRAPPED IN JORDAN. WINDSOR HAS A DEPUTY MAYOR. LET THAT SINK IN.

We are watching everything slowly close down.

The situation is clear: THE WORLD IS TAKING A PAUSE.

Closing the borders is on the table. More than likely now as many other countries have already done so. Forcing businesses to close is on the table. Imposing quarantines is on the table.

COVID19 is progressing in ways more rapidly than any of us expected locally.

Wash your hands. Avoid social contact. Employ social distancing.

If you have a parent or grandparent or anyone over the age of 40 you care about or love, TAKE CARE OF THEM.

WASH YOU HANDS.

THIS IS GETTING WORSE BY THE HOUR.

Don’t panic. But DO NOT underestimate or wish away the impacts which will be felt.

Our healthcare system is adjusting and prioritizing to COVID19. YOU SHOULD TOO!
